Run by our family for over 40 years, Callow Top is an award winning caravan & camping site. We’re surrounded by green, open fields yet within walking distance of the market town of Ashbourne.

Within easy reach of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton, Callow Top couldn’t be more perfectly located for your caravan, motorhome or self-catering holiday in the Derbyshire & Staffordshire Peak District.

We have everything you need to enjoy a great break, from toilets, showers and laundry facilities to a heated outdoor swimming pool, coarse fishing lake and the Callow Inn.

If you like getting out into the great outdoors you’ll find walks straight from your pitch and direct access to the Tissington Trail cycle route. There’s also lots more activities to do nearby from paddleboarding to paintballing.

We have picturesque villages on our doorstep and fabulous country houses to discover. Take a stroll around beautiful gardens or ride the cable cars up to The Heights of Abraham. For the thrill seekers amongst you we’re just 20 minutes drive from Alton Towers.

Free Wifi hotspots in The Callow Inn and Arnold's Games Room mean you can keep in touch. Our heated swimming & paddling pools are fun for all the family. At weekends and during peak season you can enjoy a meal in the Callow Inn and the friendly team at Reception are at hand to help you choose a local attraction, or perhaps a nearby pub, to visit during your stay.
