A mature lake in its own nature reserve
Then you have come to the right place. Our lake is an ecologically balanced mixed coarse fishery, stocked with Rudd, Roach, Tench, Perch, Crucian and Mirror Carp. It is well stocked with mature fish, and several anglers have reported catches of up to 100lb total weight.
Wildlife is a big part of life at Callow Top. The lake and the nature reserve around it were developed by working closely with the Environment Agency.
The lake sits a quarter of a mile from the main pitches, with parking right alongside. A wide selection of pegs is available, including double pegs for parent-and-child or disabled anglers. Please bring your own equipment, as we do not hire tackle.

- Fish must be returned to the water straight away
