Built by our family, for yours
Our family started Callow Top with just one field and a single tap over 40 years ago. We have grown a fair bit since then, both the site and the family, and today three generations are involved in running the park.
We are surrounded by open, green fields yet within walking distance of the market town of Ashbourne and the Tissington Trail, so you get the peace of the countryside with everyday things close at hand.
That mix of a genuine welcome, well-kept pitches and proper family facilities is what keeps guests coming back to us, year after year.

We are a family running a park for families. You will find us in reception, happy to help you make the most of your stay.
A quiet family site
Minimal lighting for dark Peak District skies and a 10.30pm quiet time. Busy and sociable in peak season, peaceful the rest of the year.
Award-winning facilities
A heated pool, the Callow Inn, a licensed shop, games room and coarse fishing lake, all kept to a 4-star standard.
On the edge of the Peak District
You will find us at Sandybrook, just outside the market town of Ashbourne, often called the gateway to the Peak District. From the park you can walk into Ashbourne in around 20 minutes, and pick up the Tissington Trail almost from the gate.
Dovedale, Carsington Water and the wider Derbyshire Dales are all close by, while Alton Towers is only about 20 minutes’ drive away, so we make an ideal base whether you are here to walk, cycle, fish or ride the rollercoasters.
