Your own pitch, ready whenever you are

A winter seasonal pitch gives you your own hardstanding spot at Callow Top from 8th November 2026 until 21st March 2027. Come and go as often as you like through the quietest months in the Derbyshire Dales, with the Tissington Trail on the doorstep and the Peak District National Park all around you.

Pitches are intended for short breaks, weekends and holidays, and are strictly not residential.

What's included

Hardstanding pitch
Electric hook-up while you are staying in your caravan
Access to chemical disposal and drinking water
Electronic fob to get through the security gates
Free coarse fishing on our own lake
Access to the Tissington Trail for walking and cycling
Heating may need to come from your gas supply to stop the electric tripping, depending on the heat setting

Winter Storage

Leave your caravan with us until spring

If you would rather not tow your caravan home for the winter, leave it safely with us. Storage runs from 8th November 2026 until 21st March 2027 on hardstanding pitches, behind security gates and CCTV.

Your price also includes use of your caravan for the first weekend of the 2027 season, 19th to 21st March, so you can start the year on the park without unhitching at home first.

Winter Seasonal Pitch

£945 for the full winter season. A £100 deposit confirms your pitch, with the balance due on 5th November 2026.

Winter Storage Pitch

£249 for the full winter season, including use of your caravan for the first weekend of 2027. A £50 deposit confirms your pitch, with the balance due on 5th November 2026.

Over winter the site facilities, including the toilets and showers, are closed. You will need to use the facilities in your own caravan.

Good for families.
Has an outside pool, no need to book for this which made it busy in hot weather.
Has a large pub and playground.
Lovely walks from campsite into Ashbourne and the trissington trail.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Few days camping, beautiful location.  Camping fields are very spacious, the pitches are more than generous.  Electricity is unavailable on grass pitches but if thats not an essential then its perfect.  Its a very well maintained site, very friendly staff too.
The pizzas on the menu at the resident pub are not to our taste but reasonably priced. Not a great choice food wise but luckily we had stocked up on essentials.
The pool is busy at all times which is understandable being in school holidays.  The games room is a nice touch however many unsupervised children can make it uncomfortable.  Decent sized play area and strict rules in place to keep the noise levels low.
However with that said,  the rules on no fires or charcoal barbecues are not being adhered to.
Overall though a beautiful place to camp and will definitely stay again.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is very Nice Caravan and Camping Holiday Park . I only wish a Visit from the Owners / Workers on site after some really Bad Storms , to see if we were OK or that we Needed Anything to make our stay Comfortable with our Stay at Callow Top Caravan Park. Apart from the Storms the site is great .
