Bring the caravan, motorhome or tent, or take a cottage, and unwind in the beautiful surroundings of the Derbyshire and Staffordshire Peak District. Walk or cycle directly from the site, spend a day by the fishing lake, or venture further afield to one of the many local attractions.

Take a tour of the house, walk the gardens, or take younger children to the farmyard and adventure play area.

Bring your bikes, or hire them nearby, and cycle the Tissington Trail to the village for afternoon tea at the tearooms.

Dovedale stepping stones
Escape the crowds of peak season and follow the River Dove through the dramatic beauty of Dovedale.
Nearby towns
Bakewell and Buxton
Two lovely nearby towns with plenty of shops and cafes. Pick up a Bakewell tart, walk the river and feed the ducks.

Beat the queues and visit midweek, around 20 minutes drive from the park.
